I am a Greek photographer based in Athens. For me, photography is a way of being and communicating a medium through which to know people, connect with them, and approach them with respect and tenderness. Beyond its professional character, the act of photographing functions as an experiential journey and a vital need to observe the human presence.

Before turning to photography professionally, I worked for ten years at the Ministry of Commerce, a period that allowed me to study photography and pursue my creative path.

​In 2000, I left the public sector to devote myself exclusively to photography. Initially, I worked as a chief photographer for magazines within a major publishing group, and from 2005 onward, I expanded into commercial projects while continuing my editorial work and personal exploration.

Since 2009, I have been working as an independent photographer, focusing on long-term documentary projects of social interest with an experiential, direct approach. My work balances documentary storytelling with a deeply personal perspective.

​At the same time, my work extends into an ongoing exploration of the medium, encompassing experimentation with form and light, the properties of black-and-white film, as well as the use of alternative printing methods. This exploration often takes on a hybrid form, combining photography with musical composition and the creation of handmade publications (fanzines), thereby highlighting the material and experiential dimension of the image.

​From 2017 to 2021, I taught photography at the Leica Academy. I am a member of the Greek Photojournalists Association and a member of the supervisory board of Phoebus (the Collective Management and Protection Organization for Photographers' Intellectual Property Rights). My photographs are included in the collection of MOMus (Thessaloniki Museum of Photography).​
